Enzo Mari by Danese Milano Sei, L'Orso Poster | The Bear

Enzo Mari was born in Novara, Italy where he studied classics and literature at the Academia di Brera in Milan from 1952 to 1956. The Bear Poster portrays a large silhouette of the sleeping bear, shunning the superfluous. It exhibits reverence and respect for the animal in a simple yet elegant modernist image, in its most essential form in “Sei, l'orso.” Part of the Nature Series, “l,orso” is silkscreened and unframed.
