The max bill Quartz has a 38mm stainless steel case with a large dial opening so you see less of the bezel and more of the dial. Since the time is the most important feature of any watch, Max Bill deliberately pared the case back to it’s simplest form. The domed hard plexiglass accentuates the historical charm of the watch. Coated with sicralan to ensure scratch resistance, it is practical too. Underneath, the minimalist dial is matt white with black printed Arabic hour markers arranged centrally with the minutes displayed on the outer edge. These rounded numerals were specially created by Max Bill and are a strong part of the DNA of the collection.
