ALPHA BARREL OAK CHEESE KNIFE 6"

The Gude Alpha Olive soft cheese knife has a 6 inch long serrated blade made of stainless and hand-ground chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. With the fine serration on the edge you can easily cut soft cheeses like Camembert or Brie. The recesses prevent sticking. And with the picker or the fork at the tip you can spread the cheese or eat it directly.

Gude knives are hand-forged in Solingen, Germany from one piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, from the blade tip to the double crop. The double crop, a special feature of Gude knives, is a counterweight to the blade. The knife is perfectly balanced. The special mixture of steel and the elaborate manufacturing process with more than 30 manual steps give the stainless steel blades with a hardness of approx. 57 HRC a special robustness and longevity.

The knife series Gude Alpha Barrel oak was created by Gude in cooperation with star chef Harald Rssel. The eponym for the high quality knives is the oak wood of the handles, which comes from over 80 year old wine barrels and has become almost indestructible through the long maturation.
