In Southern California, teenage friends Dan Maravilla and Trent Valladares bonded over music in the late 1980’s. Their music style was unique and unusual, but they formed a band together and played in various Los Angeles clubs. The pair was very creative with music and visual arts. They designed the performance areas and clothing they wore on stage. After leaving the music scene they launched a small startup focusing on accessories, watches, leather goods, headwear, backpacks, wallets and knitwear. Their products became very popular and their success took off. The former band members launched Hex in 2010. Hex focuses on style and technology. Using premium colors, materials and finishings, Hex produces quality long lasting goods.
