Glerups

A hobby that grew... In 1993, Nanny felted her first pair of boots with the wool coming from her own Gotland sheep. The felted boots were received quite by Nanny's friends and family in Denmark. So well in fact, that she started a small hobby production. This small artisanal batch would go on to pave the way for Glerups. 

Developing Production... In the beginning Nanny could only felt two pairs of boots per day. Since, Nanny and her husband Ove have worked tirelessly in order to develop and improve not only their product, but their production technology. Several machines have been invented and discarded, allowing Glerups the capability to keep up with demand from adoring customers worldwide. 

Today... The Glerups headquarter is situated in the scenic Northern side of Denmark - in the countryside with fields, trees and fresh air. Their headquarters is also Nanny and Ove's home. As Glerups has grown over the years, it has been a part of the journey to re-build, redecorate and expand the office facilities. The new warehouse building is on the field where Nanny used to have her own Gotland sheep. They treasure the lovely surroundings of our headquarter, and find inspiration and energy in the fresh and natural environment.
