Fjällräven
Fjällräven is a swedish outdoor equipment company specializing in attire and bags. Founded by Ake Nordin in 1960, Fjällräven’s original product was the first externally framed backpack. The bag was designed after noticing the increasing back problems in school children, the company launched Kanken bags in 1978 to help school kid’s backs. The bag has improved overtime to be more comfortable and durable. Fjallraven means “Arctic Fox” in Swedish and honors the animal that endures the harsh conditions in the Swedish mountains. Just like an Arctic Fox, Fjallraven Kanken bags can withstand harsh conditions. With a strong presence in European countries, the company is expanding worldwide.
