Anglepoise
In the year 1932 a vehicle suspension engineer invented a spring clank coupled with a lever mechanism. This simplistic yet iconic invention could be positioned with the lightest of touch, yet perfectly maintained position upon release. And just like that a blueprint for the first Anglepoise task lamp came to fruition. In the following years, the Anglepoise lamp went on to achieve an iconic status with its unique, anthropomorphic form. In the modern day Anglepoise lamps are still recognized and highly regarded all around the world. Carefully under development by the founding Terry family, the brand has never lost its main focus of primary function and a striking form.
